**ABOUT THE ROLE**

**Medacs Homecare division i**s currently recruiting for a **field based Area Trainer** to cover training for all Care Workers at **Bristol and Leicester branches.**

Our Homecare division prides itself on being a quality homecare provider that coordinates and delivers domiciliary care, specialist care and complex care services to the elderly, children, and those with special needs within their homes.

**You will be delivering and helping develop the initial training for all Care Workers and working with branch staff in the delivery of refresher, induction training and specific on-going training requirements to Care Workers in line with identified development areas and specific contractual requirements.**

**Here's some of the key responsibilities**:

- Effectively implementing of the Medacs Homecare training and development strategy
- Assistance in ongoing course design and reviewing and updating courses as and when required
- Travelling to Bristol and Leicester branches to conduct training
- Covering training at branches throughout the UK with overnight stays at short notice to support training requirements
- Monitoring, managing, and supporting care-workers working towards their NVQ/QCF Level 2/3 qualification.
- Updating systems with all training information
- Ensuring field-based competency assessments are being completed and any identified training is followed up
- Effective coordination of materials and time management
- Delivering effective training programmes to staff and care workers

**ABOUT YOU**

**A Trainer qualified to deliver care specific training and experienced in a wide range of learning and development training **methods and techniques in the delivery of training solutions for Care Workers**. Train the Trainer and manual handling would also be desirable.**

**You will need access to your own car (car allowance provided) and be able to travel between branches in Bristol and Leicester to conduct training which may require overnight stays.**
