We are always searching for new opportunities to expand and grow our portfolio further with our 5th restaurant due to launch later this year.

As we continue to expand, we are seeking a skilled and versatile **Maintenance Person to work Mon-Fri ,40hrs per week** to ensure the smooth behind the scenes operation of our restaurants and enhance customer satisfaction.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform regular inspections and maintenance tasks at our restaurant locations to ensure all facilities and equipment are in excellent working condition.
- Handle routine repairs, such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC, to keep our restaurants running smoothly.
- Troubleshoot and address issues with kitchen equipment, refrigeration units, and other appliances promptly to minimise downtime.
- Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies in a timely and efficient manner.
- Proactively identify potential problems, take preventive measures and report back to company directors to avoid disruptions to our operations.
- Collaborate with restaurant managers to schedule maintenance activities during off-peak hours to minimize impact on guests and staff.
- Assist in planning and executing regular and preventative maintenance tasks as the restaurant group expands.
- Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety regulations while performing maintenance duties.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, completed tasks, and delivery activities.
- Deliver furniture to our clients, ensuring items are transported securely and professionally. Perform pre-delivery inspections to confirm the quality and integrity of furniture pieces before transportation.
- Uphold excellent customer service during furniture deliveries, representing the Viano brand positively to customers.

**Qualifications**:

- At least 5 years prior experience in maintenance and or related trades.
- Proficiency in using basic tools and equipment for maintenance tasks and furniture assembly.
- Strong organisational skills to manage tasks across multiple restaurant locations.
- Clear communication skills for interacting with Company Directors restaurant staff, managers, and customers during deliveries and maintenance.
- Physical fitness and ability to handle furniture lifting and transport.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record for safe and timely deliveries.
- Problem-solving abilities to address unexpected maintenance issues or delivery challenges.
- Detail-oriented mindset to ensure the quality of maintenance work and furniture arrangement.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and urgent maintenance needs.
- Local knowledge of the Glasgow area preferable but not essential.
- Must have own method of reliable transportation to travel between venues.
