**The Role**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Complete routing system planning to finalise routes.
- Loading of 3.5t vehicles of an evening ready for drivers’ early morning departure.
- Replenishing of fast-moving stocks ready for next day’s customers order picking.
- Support in cycle counts where required.
- Ensuring orders are despatched, labelled and prepared for customers receiving.
- Ensuring orders are picked accurately and efficiently, with the aim to eliminate all customer reported errors.
- Collaborates with the customer service team and other departments.
- Escalates issues to management and recommend potential solutions.
- Managing any errors made by undertaking transparent investigation and using as training for the shift to strive for improvement.
- Support colleagues with training and learning new skills.
- Develops and improves warehouse processes and procedures.
- Ownership of late shift colleagues KPI’s and ensure the best working practices are being followed.
- Ensure company lock up procedure is followed and building security.
- Report of any security issues to senior management.
- Ensure stock integrity is maintained to a very high standard.
- Ensuring Health and Safety procedures are followed at all times within the warehouse, reporting of any unsafe practices to management.
- Maintain hygiene standards to a high level.
- A professional attitude.
- Other duties as and when required by the Warehouse or Operations Manager.
**Skills and Experience**:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Experience operating a counterbalance - (licenced)
- Experience operating a reach truck - (licenced)
- Good organisational skills.
- Good time management and prioritisation skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to lift heavy items.
- Working within a team in a fast paced environment.
**Salary**: £27,000.00-£30,000.00 per year

- Reach Truck Licence (preferred)
