We are working closely with one the region's leading SME Civil Engineering Contractors delivering Earthworks, Groundworks, Drainage, Water and Road Construction schemes and packages up to £10million.
Due to continued success, they are looking to add a Quantity Surveyor to their commercial team based in Wakefield.
**Qualifications/Experience**
- Experience of working with NEC contracts for one off schemes and frameworks
- Experience of commercially managing civil engineering and drainage projects across a range of schemes
- Conversant with modern software packages
- Experience of working within a commercial team
- Surveying Degree or equivalent qualification / experience

**The Role**
- Aid in the price and submission of quotations for works on framework projects
- Liaison with Site and Project Managers as well as Clients and Subcontractors
- Checking of schemes cost and monitoring of spend
- Manage subcontract supply chain, issuing orders and authorisation of payments
- Assessment and submission of compensation events
