Principal Transport Planner

**Principal Transport Planner** required for a Travel and Transport consultancy based in central London. The successful Transport Planner will work on and be involved in managing a number of exciting, complex transport planning projects withthe support of the transport team. You will have the opportunity to lead on the development and delivery of our projects with the support of the Directors. You will deliver market leading consultancy advice, necessitating a sound understanding of client requirementson projects and recognition of competing stakeholders' interests with effective resource management.

**Principal Transport Planner - Position Requirements**
- Experience with Transport Statements, Assessments and Travel Plans;
- Access strategy work, parking strategies, sustainable transport, S106 agreements, S278 agreements and guidance such as NPPF, DfT Transport Assessment guidelines, Manual for Streets etc;
- Use of the TRICS database;
- Setting up and running PICADY's and ARCADYS;
- An understanding of LINSIG and can carry this modelling out for different scenarios, understand what they are doing and why;
- The principles of micro-simulation and strategic models/modelling;
- Junction design (priority, roundabout, signals).

**Principal Transport Planner - Position Remuneration**
- £55,000 - £65,000 (Dependent on experience)
