Service Advisor

Greg Mitchell Motors is a highly successful, family-run motor dealership, based in Victoria Bridge, County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. Having started off in 2006 selling prestige used cars and 4x4s, we have grown extensively in recent years and now represent several of the world's leading motor brands, including MG, Suzuki, Mitsubishi and Maxus.

We are looking for an experienced and highly professional Service Advisor to join our Aftersales department. You will benefit from operating in a franchised environment where standards are high and delivering quality and service to the customer is paramount. As we seek to continue to grow our already well established aftersales and parts business you will benefit from our investment in training, technology and tools, as well as working with a successful and motivated team.

Our Service Advisors are experts in building warm, trusted relationships with our customers. You will effectively be a relationship manager between the customer and the workshop, ensuring customer satisfaction levels are outstanding. Our service advisors are responsible for setting customer expectations, gaining approval for work to be carried out and keeping the customer informed. A large part of the Service Advisor position involves:

- Being the first point of contact for our customers, in a friendly and courteous manner throughout the day
- Using internal systems to book vehicles into the workshop
- Maintaining accurate customer records, and updating the systems when any bookings have been made
- Liaising with the technical workshop to keep track of the vehicles’ progress and ensuring the vehicle is ready at the promised time
- Providing exceptional customer service, including establishing customers onward travel arrangements, updating customers whilst their car is in our workshop, handing over vehicles after service work and maintaining ongoing relationships
- Maintaining thorough product knowledge and updating your knowledge through manufacturer led training
- Adopting a sales approach regarding upsell
- Working to manufacturer customer satisfaction targets
- Skills Required:_
- Previous experience in a similar role within the motor industry is preferred as well as a strong technical knowledge and experience with working with the public
- A warm personality and a real passion for delivering a first class customer experience
- Comfortable working in a high pressured environment and working to deadlines and targets
- Strong teamwork and relationship building skills
- Ability to work independently using your own initiative
- Confident and professional communication skills
- Able to manage and prioritise workload
- Excellent attention to detail
- A full, clean UK Driving Licence

**Salary**: £25,000 - £28,000 Basic Salary (Dependent on experience) plus Generous Bonus Scheme (OTE £30,000)

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8.15am - 5.30/6.00pm; plus every 4th Saturday, 8.30am -1.30pm.
