Stafffinders is seeking a driven and enthusiastic individual to join our retail client in Stirling as a Retail Janitor, on a temporary basis.

**Your rate of pay and hours of work**

In this temporary position, expected to last for 12 weeks, you will receive an hourly salary of £10.92, paid weekly with accrued holiday pay. The work schedule follows a four-week rotation, alternating 7 am to 4:30 pm shifts with 8:30 am to 5:30 pm shifts. You will be expected to work five days out of seven, covering Monday to Sunday.

**Responsibilities within your new role**

In your role as a Retail Janitor, primary responsibilities include efficiently managing waste in adherence to on-site protocols and meeting recycling goals. This involves utilising on-site equipment such as a cardboard baler, waste compactor, pallet lifter, and ride-on sweeper. Driving and operating company vehicles, including trailer towing, is a key aspect. You'll be responsible for upholding cleanliness in back-of-house areas, including corridors and lifts, as well as maintaining the tidiness of service yards and the parking lot. Additionally, you will play an active role in assisting clients and retailers with the disposal of items and contribute proactively in emergency situations, including fulfilling fire warden duties.

**Your personality, experience and qualifications**

We are looking for someone who enjoys working as part of a team, but who can also work independently to reach the shared goal. Excellent time management skills are required along with strong communication skills. You should have a high level of customer care awareness along with manual handling capability.

A full UK driving licence is essential for this position due to vehicle operational requirements.
