Role: Freelance Brand Packaging Designer

Function: Brand

Reports to: Head of Brand & Creative

Compensation: £300-350 per day / 1 - 3 Days per week depending on workload

**The Brand**:
The Beauty Crop is a young, fast-growing dynamic beauty company, operating primarily in the E-commerce space but starting soon in retail too. Our company is inspired by healthy living and we create products that are enhanced with nutrition derived from natural ingredients; Our philosophy is that nutrition is as equally essential for your skin as it is for your body; We are a global team operating in the UK and North America and are passionate about creating colourful, fun and cruelty-free cosmetics.

**Why we need you**:As part of the new branding team, we are looking for someone to come join us in taking The Beauty Crop to the next level - building a fun, bold, brilliant brand that stands out, looks incredible and people can’t help but notice and talk about. To keep us with our new collections we are looking for someone to join us briefly to design packaging for new products.

**Your Mission**:To design brand packaging that elevates The Beauty Crop, focusing on premiumisation and creating that wow factor for the customer, you’ll lead the development of the look and feel of new product packaging and the unboxing experience.

**Core Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate closely with the Head of Brand & Creative to develop The Beauty Crops future brand identity for packaging
- Work closely with the New Product Development team on what products are upcoming and developing the look and feel of the packaging
- Liaise with suppliers directly on packaging development and sampling
- Manage project timelines to ensure packaging is designed, sampled and delivered on time
- Be a brand guardian, endlessly look for opportunities to elevate our brand and ensure consistency across all channels
- Take ownership of you’re workload managing your capacity and priorities

**Requirements**:

- Proven track record of packaging design, bonus if its previously been for packaging
- Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
- Past experience liaising with print suppliers
- Strong eye for detail, highly organised and proactive
- Passionate about packaging and creating that ‘wow’ moment for the customer
- Great time management skills, you can handle multiple projects simultaneously and adapt easily to changes in direction, deadlines, and project execution

**Job Type**: Freelance

Pay: £300.00-£350.00 per day
