Tech Project Coordinator

**Place of work** - Head office: Liverpool St (currently working part remotely and partly from head office)

**Hours of work** - 8.30 to 17.00

**Reporting to **- Head of Engineering

**Contract** - Permanent, full time

**Salary **- £27,500 - £32,500 (depending on experience)

Ruth Miskin Training is a leading education and training company based in London. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Tech Project Coordinator. As a Tech Project Coordinator you will play a critical role in supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of various technology projects. You will work alongside the IT and Software Developer teams to deliver tech projects and assist our IT support team in responding to technical issues and queries.

**Tech Projects**
- Assist the tech team in coordinating all tech projects.
- Organise and maintain up-to-date Trello board tickets, creating and maintaining project schedules, task lists, and documentation.
- Maintain project documentation, including meeting minutes, project status reports, and change requests.
- Monitor and report progress and deadlines.
- Conduct testing of new features and feedback to software developers.
- Update staff and stakeholders on the launch of new features, acting as a central point of contact for teams and stakeholders, and external vendors.
- Facilitate communication between project team members, ensuring everyone is well-informed and aligned on project goals, milestones, and deadlines.
- Maintain and update documentation, including staff and customer guides and project plans.
- Provide staff training and guides on new features.
- Perform website maintenance using WordPress.
- Feedback common issues to Development Team that come through support channels during daily meetings.

**IT Support**
- Provide IT support and manage tickets, escalating issues to the Development or IT team when necessary.
- Offer first and second line technical support to Ruth Miskin employees and users of third-party and company software.
- Manage user accounts and access.
- Enforce company IT policies, best practices, and security measures, providing user education as needed.
- Assist IT team with equipment orders, licenses, and vendor management.
- Provide cover for IT Support Coordinator as needed.

Skills and qualities required for this role

**Essential**:

- One year’s experience in an IT role
- Strong knowledge of macOS and iOS operating systems (we are 99% Apple-based)
- Ability to carry out tasks proactively
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Fluent English speaker and writer
- Excellent communication skills: ability to explain technology to non-technical staff
- Experience supporting users remotely
- Experience using Device Management Systems (JAMF, Kandji, InTune etc.)

**Desirable**:

- Experience using WordPress or any other CMS
- MySQL Experience
