TheNHS in Cumbria is moving through a programme of significant transformational change involving the implementation of transformative clinical models of service and organisational integration. Key to delivering this change is our delivery of information technology required for services to be modern, safe, effective and well governed.

The Trust and Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) have decided to deliver a transformational digital programme throughout its services for clinical and non-clinical. This programme will utilise the OGC best practice framework of “Managing Successful Programmes”, underpinned by project management using the “PRINCE2” methodology.

This is a post within the Digital Programmes office that requires an enthusiastic, experienced and highly motivated individual who responds positively to new challenges.

This role involvesassisting programme and project managerson one or more digital programmes/projects. This assistance may include:

- monitoring delegated project risks and responding to issues that affect projects
- supporting the production of project documentation as required and the maintenance of document stores
- supporting the tracking and realising the business benefits arising from projects
- preparing and maintaining simple plans
- documenting project requirements
- administration of project/programme meetings
- analysis of workflows and identifying possible solutions to problems/issues
- providing training/support to users
- documenting agreed budgets for projects and capturing forecast and actual costs
- managing stakeholders in non-complex situations
- contributing to the development and updating of resource plans
