**About the Role**

Due to our continued growth, we are currently recruiting for a **Trainee Planner **to join our Planning team, based at our office in Elderslie.

**Role Responsibilities**
- Support with planning and administrative processes for all tasks within the Planning team including client, supplier and safety critical communications.
- Maintain all safety critical trackers.
- Maintain systems and records and produce accurate reporting data to assist the Planning team.
- Assist with delivery of engineering access planning, ensuring safe, efficient and cost-effective planning to comply with timescales.
- Comply in accordance with health and safety regulations at all times.

**What we are looking for**

**Essential**
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages, specifically Excel and Word
- Previous experience in a fast paced, administration role
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Willingness and interest to obtain the relevant qualifications and training required for the role of SSOW/SWP Planner

**Desirable**
- Previous experience within the railway and/or construction sectors
- Previous experience with use of the Sentinel system
- Previous experience with use of the Ontrac V.4 system in creation of SWP’s
- Previous experience with use of the Railhub system for booking line blockages
- Previous experience with use of Network Rail’s PPS system - Not essential
- Understanding of the 019 standard
