We are looking to hire a Warehouse Operative for a large medical company based in Worthing.

**Salary**: £25,600

**Location**: Worthing

**Hours**: 4 on / 4 off (05:00-16:15 / 10:45-22:00)

**Security**:Basic DBS

**The Role**:

- To operate warehouse manual handling equipment including high reach and counterbalance fork life trucks, low tractors, ride on and push pallet trucks and pallet inverters to move, load, wrap and safely store palettized products on site.
- Maintain high standards of service continuity to ensure prompt delivery and collection of raw materials and finished products between warehouse and production areas
- Ensure good standards of housekeeping in all areas used by the Distribution and Logistics team.
- Report all damage and maintenance required on equipment the Line Manager.
- Report any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment provided that may result in failure of service delivery or risk to health and safety or the environment
- Use all work equipment and personal PPE properly and in accordance with training received
- Report any issues or training needs to your Line manager and /or via your divisional incident reporting system
- Experience in a warehouse environment
- Appropriately trained to use counterbalance and reach forklift trucks
- Customer Service focused
