Joiner

Are you an experienced Joiner with practical site experience and / or relevant qualifications?

Our brand new client based in Sheffield is seeking an experienced Joiner to join them on a full time permanent basis 8am-4.30pm Monday to Friday. Please note this role is a permanent PAYE position and cannot be considered on a self employed basis.

As Joiner, you will be responsible for first and second fix joinery and carpentry work, you will be recently experienced in using mitre jigs for complex kitchen refits, site set up, clear down and clean up, purchasing and collection of required constructionmaterials, video recording of works with audio commentary before work commencement and on completion, daily assessment of allocated work, completing quality checks, obtaining customer satisfaction sign off, keeping company vehicle clean and roadworthy, sitehealth and safety.

The role will cover work in the following locations:

- Halifax, Leeds, Wakefield, Bradford, Doncaster, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire & Derbyshire therefore it is essential that you have a full UK driving licence.

To be considered for the role of Joiner, you will have 5 years site experience and / or City & Guilds Level 3 Joinery / Carpentry qualification and two years practical experience. You will have general building industry knowledge, ability to understand drawings,pc literacy, effective communication skills, working to targets and deadlines, excellent attention to detail.

In return our client will offer a basic salary of £31,200 plus paid travel one way, 28 days paid holiday including statutory holidays, pension scheme, annual performance reviews.
