**Job Description**:
Godolphin is seeking to recruit a dedicated and passionate Stud Hand. Reporting to the Stud Groom, the job holders will be responsible for horse care and stud maintenance.

**Key Tasks**:
**The care and welfare of thoroughbred breeding stock, including**:

- Handling of mares/foals/youngstock
- Grooming
- Mucking out
- Assisting the vet/farrier

**High standard stud maintenance, including**:

- Paddock maintenance
- Machinery operation and maintenance
- Hedge trimming
- Lawn mowing

**Qualifications**:
**Skills, Knowledge and Qualifications**
- Stud experience
- Knowledge and understanding of thoroughbreds and breeding
- Good communication skills
- Enthusiasm - this role will suit someone with a great attitude who wants to learn
- A driving licence is essential.
