**About The Role**:

Our new Trainee Buyer vacancy is an excellent platform to develop and learn through hands on experiences whilst being surrounded by industry experts. This is a fantastic opportunity to experience and understand the full supply chain cycle from grower to store. Here at IPL we are constantly looking to raise the bar and gain competitor advantage in everything that we do. A key part of this role will be to make informed decisions based on data insight and numbers - every penny counts so we can pass these savings on to our Asda customers.

**Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5pm**

**What are we looking for?**
- We are seeking self-driven, resilient and dynamic individuals that are eager to develop their commercial awareness and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- A passion for undertaking a CIPS qualification
- Experience of using MS Excel (intermediary Level)
- Focused on using data to drive decisions
- A great attitude with a willingness to try new things, develop and learn
- Confidence in own ability with a growth mind-set approach
- Organised, tenacious and an energy and passion for “getting things done”
- Strong numeracy skills with an understanding of value and price
- Creative, pragmatic and resolution focused
- Experience of putting the customer at the heart of everything they do
- Experience of resilience and conflict resolution
- Ability to collaborate and drive individual performance
- Ability to adapt quickly and embrace change
