Chief Cardiac Physiologist

The East Suffolk and North East Essex foundation trust is offering an exciting opportunity to join our expanding and dynamic cardiology department as a chief cardiac physiologist specialising in echocardiography.

This is an excellent position for an experience cardiac physiologist / clinical scientist who holds BSE accreditation. Within this role you will also have the opportunity to mentor and support our trainee physiologists, and be involved in leading on an aspect within our cardiology services.

Our expanding and dynamic Cardiology Department offers a wide range of both invasive and non-invasive diagnostic tests.

The post holder will work as part of the diagnostic Cardiology team to provide high quality cardiac diagnostics, with patient care at the forefront.

As a senior cardiac physiologist you will expected to perform a range of complex diagnostics independently as well as actively contributing to service development. You will also be expected to supervise and assist with training junior members of staff.
