Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plumbing and Heating Engineer to join our team. As a Heating Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing heating systems and 1st & 2nd fix plumbing in residential and commercial buildings such as pubs/restaurant. Your expertise in mechanical knowledge and ability to work with power tools will be essential in ensuring the efficient operation of heating systems.
**Responsibilities**:
- 1st and 2nd fix of domestic and light commercial properties.
- Install, maintain, and repair heating systems, including boilers, heat pumps, and radiators
- Conduct inspections to identify issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements
- Diagnose malfunctions and troubleshoot heating system problems
- Perform regular maintenance tasks to ensure optimal system performance
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working on heating systems
**Requirements**:
- NVQ level 2 or level 3 plumbing qualification/City and Guilds
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of heating systems
- Proficient in using power tools and hand tools for installation and repairs
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Preferred Skills:
- Plumbing knowledge for connecting pipes and fittings
- Ability to assemble components of heating systems

Rquired to work away. Hotels payed and food allowance provided
Pay: £16.00-£22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week
