**The Opportunity**

Are you an experienced Freight Forwarder looking for a role within an established Global Logistics Company with continued projected growth? Located in Final Newlyn we are looking for a strong Freight Forwarder to become an integral part of the team. This is a permanent position working a 30 hour week across 4 days, assisting with the day-to-day operational management of a Freight Forwarding business.

**Role**

As a Freight Forwarder your duties will include:

- Negotiating quotations for multi-modal shipments
- Managing client accounts including invoicing
- Arranging bookings with carriers and hauliers for the movement of cargo
- Keeping appraised of any changes regarding available routings and regulations
- Undertaking other duties within the department requested by your line or senior managers to aid the performance of the department.

**Skills**
- As an experienced Freight Forwarder you will:

- Understand current import and export procedures.
- Have a good knowledge of IT
- Ideally have a background in dangerous goods movements
- Have the ability to understand and tackle a problem handling client objections
- Be experience in import, export procedures
- Have experience and understanding of customs regulations and dangerous goods to ideally include military regulations

**Hours of Work**

Working 4 out of 5 Days Monday to Friday, 30 hours Pro rota £20,800
