We are looking housekeeper for the Haematology Unit, supporting both inpatient and daycase patients
This is a job share role with set days Thursday and Friday
You will need to be able to work within a small team on.
You will be allocated a team leader to support you
**Main duties of the job**:
- This role includes the undertaking of daily organisation, maintaining stock levels, audits, and cleanliness of the environment.Duties include stores ordering, management of stock, maintenance of equipment, also including general housekeeping of the unit.
It is essential that you are able to work in an orderly and systematic manner, possess good literacy, IT, numeracy, communication and organisational skills.
You need to have a caring attitude as you will be in contact with daycase and inpatient's on a daily basis. You will need the ability to work effectively under direction as part of a multidisciplinary team and autonomously working through your set tasks and routine.
Assisting with domestics and estates to ensure infection control measures are maintained
Assisting with food delivery and stock of food for immunosuppressed patient
The unit can be quite emotive and coping strategies required.
