**The role in a nutshell**:
As a Content Designer here at Kin + Carta, you will work with large, global businesses and organisations that require seamless end-to-end experiences that elevate their brands, products and services and put the user at the heart. You will play a pivotal role in curating exceptional digital experiences from discovery to delivery. You'll have the opportunity to engage with a variety of clients and projects, showcasing your adaptability and flexibility in both approach and methodologies. You’re most effective when working with others; you’ll work with strategists on content strategies, you’ll work with the designers to ensure that layout, assets and copy work harmoniously together and you’ll work with the data team to continuously optimise content. Our project work is broad and spans globally recognised brands, as well as critical UK government departments; so we are looking for a designer who is experienced and open to working in different environments and business sectors.

**The type of person we’d love to meet**:

- You are forensic with meticulous attention to detail as well as specific and measured in approach with a focus on delivering excellence iteratively
- Analytical and curious with the ability to find the key insight in a wide range and volume of research, reports, information and data
- Skilled in presenting and able to explain complex detail in a simple, clear and compelling way
- Organised and efficient at managing multiple projects and deadlines
- Self starters who are equally comfortable working alone as well as in close collaboration with team members
- Able to confidently work in a fast-paced, demanding environment
- Confident in crafting compelling written content tailored for digital experiences, carefully considering user journeys and brand channels.
- You will be skilled in harnessing evidence, data, and research to inform content decisions, shaping layouts, hierarchies, and formats that resonate with the user.
- Skilled in strategising, creating, evaluating, updating and reviewing content at all stages of the end-to-end user journey
- Committed to ensuring user needs are placed at the heart of all content design proposals, championing the user and their overall experience
- Skilled in defining and implementing tone of voice
- Experienced in using research and insights to create content from the ground up or enhance existing materials
- Able to demonstrate the ability to establish strong client relationships by effectively communicating the value of content design
- Skilled in conducting thorough quality assurance checks on all content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to brand guidelines.
- You are a champion for inclusive and accessible content design
- Interested and invested in staying abreast of industry best practices and knowledge share with the wider team

**Nice to have**:

- Proficiency in Miro and Figma for collaboration and content visualisation.
- Familiarity with GDS standards and guidelines.
- Experience in facilitating stakeholder workshops
- Understanding of SEO principles
