**Responsibilities**:

- Walk dogs on a regular basis, ensuring their safety and well-being
- Provide basic pet care, including feeding and watering dogs as needed
- Clean up after dogs during walks and dispose of waste properly
- Monitor dogs for any signs of distress or illness and report any concerns to the owner or supervisor
- Follow specific instructions provided by dog owners regarding their pets' care and behavior
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor

**Skills**:

- Experience working with dogs, either professionally or as a pet owner
- Knowledge of basic dog behavior and body language
- Ability to handle dogs of various sizes and temperaments
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and address any concerns or questions they may have
- Physical stamina to walk multiple dogs for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift heavy objects, such as dog food bags or crates, as needed

Note: This position will also involve pet sitting in the owner's home from time to time as required. All will be discussed at the interview. It primarily focuses on dog walking and providing basic care for the dogs during walks.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 10-20 per week

**Salary**: £6.70-£21.57 per hour

Schedule:

- Flexitime
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Seaford: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- animal care / dog walking: 1 year (preferred)
