D & F McCarthy’s Ltd - a family owned business for nearly 150 years - are looking to recruit a worker to be part of our day preparation team, packing produce for wholesale and retail markets.
We are looking for a full-time worker, working 5 days a week Sunday to Friday 10am - 5/6pm.
The role mainly involves netting, bagging and labeling produce as well as some preparation work (cutting, peeling, slicing and dicing). A work history involving food preparation is advantageous although full training will be provided as part of the role. Food hygiene certificate useful.
This role is mostly undertaken in an ambient environment but PPE is provided and a full uniform after completion of the 3-month probation period.
**Key Information**
Pay is £10.50 per hour
A paid ½ hr break every day
Day shift (10am
- 5/6pm) depending when the work is complete
Sunday - Friday with 1 rotating day off _(5 days per week)_
