Production Planner

**Job Role**:

- Produce the production plan/schedule within the agreed planning time fence taking into account line capacity and material availability
- Ensuring clear visibility of which products are to be made within the planning time fence
- Weekly co-ordination across all areas of the business to ensure alignment and that raw materials/other are in place
- Ensuring timely and accurate communication with the supply planners/demand planners across the group
- Work with Blending/Packing to check which shifts are running, in which areas, and understanding capacity available
- Assure the raw materials and packaging supplies are in place to service all areas on a daily basis
- Clear and timely communication with the Purchasing and Quality departments
- Execute all SAP activities associated with these tasks
- Monitor and report against job related KPIs
- Support new products development and ensure supply as per project timeline
- Provide daily/weekly report on stock covers, risk of shortages, etc. and create action plans to mitigate any OOS risks
- Support Inventory & Material Management Strategies for all FG by regular review and optimisation of inventory parameters and levels (e.g. reorder patterns, Planning time fences, etc)
- Achieve industry relevant service levels with low end-to-end costs (inventory, write off)
- Provide cover for CHEP pallets ordering
- Cover any tasks within the Planning and Logistics department during holidays
- Provide cover for Supply Planning Manager is his/her absence.
- Support the group CSR Strategy and commitments, especially regarding CO2 reduction.
- Follow and comply with food safety and quality culture

- Compliance with BRC, IFS
