**Commercial Assistant**

**Aberdeenshire**

An opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Assistant to join the team at Morrison Construction North East.

You will based in or around the Aberdeen area as our office is based in Kingseat Business Park, this is an office based position. This is a great opportunity to join a reputable local Business with a strong pipeline of work into 2024.

**What you will be doing**:

- Processing subcontract payments
- Keeping to payment deadlines.
- Chasing subcontractors for updated insurances & self-billing agreements.
- Processing retention releases
- Chasing subcontractors for updated insurances & self-billing agreements.
- Raising subcontract orders
- A 210 form and signed subcontract order needs to received from QS.
- On-boarding new subcontractors through the Builders Profile
- Sending the invites from the Builders Profile.
- The majority of subcontractors will need help to set up their account and complete the profile questions - This includes their company information, insurances, finance details, health and safety etc.
- Checking the subcontractors have the correct information/documents on the profile - Details such insurances, self-billing & VAT certificate. Profiles need to be fully approved for 100% compliance.
- Requesting approval and chasing up assessors to complete the set up.
- Keeping existing subcontractors details up to date through the Builders Profile
- Includes allocating updated information to the correct approvers. Sending reminders though the Builders Profile and chasing up subcontractors to update.

**About You**:

- Process orientated
- Fully conversant with Microsoft packages including Excel
- Good communication skills - both written and verbal Team player with ability to work on own as required
