**_Are you looking for a full-time role as a teaching assistant with a clear career path? _**

Teaching Personnel are recruiting a Teaching Assistant for a high-achieving **Welsh medium primary school** within the **north of Cardiff**. The school is eager to welcome an enthusiastic teaching assistant to their team to work in the nursery class. The children you will be responsible for are 3 and 4 years old.You will be surrounded by a supportive team within the nursery class to guide you through the routine and activities of the day. You must be able to speak fluent Welsh for this role.

**The role includes**:

- Preparing the classroom ready for the day
- Welcoming the children into the classroom
- Preparing snack time in the morning and afternoon
- Taking small groups of children out for activities throughout the day
- Managing behaviour
- Ensuring classroom is tidy at all times
- Supporting the teacher with daily tasks

**What are the requirements to work in a school?**
- Enhanced child only **DBS** on the update service
- Be registered with the **Education Workforce council**
- 2x professional references
- Right to work in the UK
- A permanent address in the UK

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
