Lecturer: Fashion

**The role**:

- Part-time/Sessional, Mon-Thurs, full days.
- Deliver on A Level Fashion & Textile Design.
- Demonstrate excellent standards in hand stitch, machine work/stitch, design, pattern cutting, modelling, fabric manipulation and sampling.
- To work pro-actively to forward the success and vision of the department.
- Ensuring a high standard of achievement through engaging and interactive sessions.
- Identifying and analysing student needs.

**The person**:
We are therefore seeking a passionate individual with a background in Fashion/Textiles and related academic qualifications.

**Have you got what it takes?**
- Proven success in an educational establishment.
- GCSE or equivalent Maths & English.
- A recognised teaching qualification.
- A positive and supportive attitude to student learning and experience.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 3 months
Part-time hours: 30 per week

**Salary**: £20.00-£25.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Leicester, Leicestershire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (preferred)
