Are you an experienced maintenance professional looking to join the education sector? Malcolm Arnold Academy is recruiting a Caretaker to support our site team in carrying our day to day general maintenance of our school.

**_ About the Role_**

This is an interesting and varied position comprising of a wide range of duties which are connected to the heart of the academy. This includes Security, Cleaning, monitoring Contracts and Contractors, Planned Maintenance (PPM) and minor repairs and refurbishments. You will advise the Academy Principal and Core Facilities & Estates teams on suggested improvements to the Academy environment; enhancing the productivity and efficiency of Site Management by balancing both risk levels and budgets.

This is a full-time and permanent position within our academy.

- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Good numeracy skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks required by the role including lifting, carrying and pushing various equipment
- Good planning and negotiating skills
- Ability to analyse data and problem solve on own initiative
- Ability to prioritise and manager workload whilst maintaining a flexible approach to respond to conflicting demands
- Display a conscientious and logical approach to the variety of tasks
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to comply with Health and Safety regulations
