Business Analyst - £500 - £550 Per Day Outside IR35 - 6 Month Contract - Hybrid

A Local government body responsible is looking for a Business Analyst to join their organisation to ensure Business Analysis contribution and successful delivery of Technology and Data initiatives
**Your new role**
You will provide business efficiency, effectiveness, and enhancement through changes in processes and technology across all operating businesses and stakeholders and work across the Operating Businesses and with stakeholders. This role enables effective decisionmaking and delivery across all stages of an initiative from Plan to Delivery.
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Understanding of business environments.
- Being able to learn about a business quickly and filter information
- Good knowledge of Business Analysis techniques, tools and processes
- Good awareness of current developments in IT, Public Transport and Payments industries
- Knowledge of Project Management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE 2 )
- Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies (e.g., Agile and Waterfall)
- Strong problem solving, lateral thinking and analytical skills: ability to analyse a situation and present a solution is key
- Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in requirements capture, business process flows and documentation
- Influencing skills, including the ability to build working relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with colleagues and external stakeholders.
- Ability to assimilate and interpret new information quickly and accurately, communicating complex information clearly and concisely with a sound awareness of the big picture.
- Excellent spreadsheet and information processing skills. Good IT, numeracy and project management skills
