**About Zoom by Ocado**
Zoom is our fast growing rapid delivery service, delivering convenience without compromise to customers in London and Leeds. With over 10,000 products to choose from, Zoom gives customers more choice than other rapid delivery services, all delivered in less than 60 minutes.

**About the role**

This role is responsible for the commercial trading of the Fresh, Chilled and Frozen category ranges across the Zoom site. As we continue to grow the Zoom by Ocado business, we are looking for an individual to continue to deliver the commercial performance of these areas by defining the product range offering, promotional strategy and product pricing differentiation.
There are over 10,000 products ranged on Zoom by Ocado, and this role will manage approximately 3,000 of them allowing autonomy to define and create the future of the area and affording great responsibility. Reporting into the Senior Trading Manager for Zoom, the Senior Trading Executive will own their part of the range, ensuring we have the best proposition to serve our target customer segments and deliver key shopper missions. You will also own the promotional plan for the range, work with key partner suppliers, and various internal teams, to build a plan helping to drive increased sales and customer engagement, through great value and relevant offers.
The Senior Trading Executive will additionally support coaching and training the more junior members of the team with support from the Senior Trading Manager, will take a lead in driving forward commercial category performance, and will be involved in more strategic projects and cross-business priority work.
If you’ve had prior experience working in a commercial trading team and want to expand your remit to develop breadth across a wide range of product areas, working in an ambitious, dynamic small team with the ability to see the results applied immediately, then this is the role for you.

**Role and responsibilities**
- Recommended category strategy to execute and implement regular category reviews, including data-driven recommendations for range improvements. This will involve working closely with the Commercial Insights Analyst
- Host monthly promotions meetings with suppliers and challenge their capability to design promotions which are aligned with Zoom's promotion strategy
- Build supplier strategy plans working with the Senior Commercial Analyst to create new ideas and implement key media campaigns
- Manage monthly promotional changeover of the category range within Zoom
- Actively contribute to the future Zoom site plan. This includes choosing locally pertinent ranges, launching new local suppliers and managing trading metrics
- Regularly collate and present promotional performance to Zoom retail team during monthly trade planning meetings
- Present performance in the Monday Trading update, taking full ownership of the individual product categories and recommending key actions to drive the department forwards
- Input into the promotional & events calendar, ensuring key activities related to this take place on time
- Collaborate with Supply Chain to optimise on-site product availability and minimise purge
- End to end management of multiple projects, establishing and building relationships across the Retail team, wider Ocado business and with suppliers to ensure successful project outcomes

**You will need**
Ideally 2-3 years experience, with previous commercial Retail or Grocery experience
- Strong Excel and IT skills
- A good team player and the ability to coach others
- Organisational skills in order to deal with a variety of different tasks at the same time
- Project management capability
- Passion for working in Food and Retail, with a keen desire to learn and expand knowledge in this exciting industry
