We have an exciting opportunity for an Apprentice Refurb fitter to begin their story as part of our technical team based at our Head Office in Carlisle. We are looking for someone who embodies our values of being hardworking, grounded, and proud of the work they do.

As an apprentice Refurb Fitter, you will work towards gaining a professional qualification whilst gaining practical experience. You will be supervised and mentored by our experienced team who will support your development and progression.

You will become skilled in the repair and maintenance of heavy plant machinery including mechanical engineering and electrical diagnostics across a range of the most sophisticated plant and rail machines available. This will set you up for a rewarding career in the fast-paced Plant world. As part of your 3-year Apprenticeship you will spend time on site seeing the machines in operation as well as in the workshop getting hands on experience.

We are looking for people who are interested in machines, and are enthusiastic team players with excellent communication skills. You will be supported by a welcoming and inclusive team, learning on the job whilst also attending college where you will work towards your NVQ qualification.

A good standard of education including Maths and English would be advantageous, however further support can be offered.
