This is an exciting opportunity within our chemotherapy department, 12 month fixed-term. You will have excellent customer service skills and be committed to providing a first class service to our patients. You will be responsible for greeting patients at reception, checking and updating personal details while maintaining patient confidentiality.

Main duties of the job

Working as part of the chemotherapy team you will be responsible for greeting patients at reception, checking and updating personal details while maintaining patient confidentiality. Using Medway PAS and other relevant booking systems you will arrange follow-up appointments and update details accurately and efficiently. You’ll have excellent communication skills and will deal appropriately with enquires both by telephone and in person.

Working at the City Hospital which has great access to public transport, Medi Link and Park and Ride.

To support the chemotherapy team and provide reception and administration cover. The post holder will need to use their initiative to develop processes and ensure the effective provision of a quality service.

**Salary**: The quoted salary will be on a pro rata basis for part time workers.
