**Main Purpose of the Role**:
To be a direct interface between the client, internal functions, and suppliers. As an Account Executive you are part of the Account Management team and are responsible for supporting the successful functioning and growth of the client relationships within the UK Airline Team. You will need swift and accurate communication coupled with product knowledge and the drive to help the team grow the customer base.

Product training will be part of the training programme.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Understand the job role, and how it relates to the customers' requirements while taking personal responsibility for your quality of work.
- Develop and maintain good relationships with a variety of relevant Stakeholders (internal and external)
- Follow processes and procedures for the client accounts.
- Implement decisions that have been agreed.
- Maintain confidentiality with sensitive client information.
**Key Deliverables**:

- Provide first line support to the Senior Account Manager.
- Demonstrate the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and recognise changing priorities in a fast-paced sales environment.
- Show wiliness to learn new procedures and discuss new ideas.
- Ability to work alone, or as part of the team in a structured and self-motivated manner.
- Have the confidence to ask for guidance.
- Work with both the UK and German colleagues and share information of interest.
**Commercial Awareness**:

- Have an awareness of major client and industry developments.
**Job Role**:

- Input of Enquiries, Quotations and Orders into the IMS System for internal and external orders.
- Check the progress of orders with suppliers to ensure there are no delays.
- Check supplier invoices against orders to ensure they match and add invoices to a Finance spreadsheet once approved.
- Work with the Senior Account Manager on customer stock orders,
- Be aware of the MOQ of stock products and discuss any under the pre-defined level.
- Track deliveries daily and keep an on-line file of POD's defined by customer and invoice number.
- Actively contribute to Team meetings.
- Build Customer and Supplier relationships.
There will be a development program in place to allow for full training towards the position of Account Manager. This is a customer facing role where you will look after your own customers once you have gained full knowledge and understanding of their needs.

You will closely monitor margins and expected team targets.

Work closely and support the Senior Account Manager with monthly and weekly reporting.

Attend customer and supplier visits.

Visit colleagues in Germany on a regular basis to strengthen internal relationships, discuss ideas and gain knowledge of the Production facility.

You will be expected to work independently at times and make your own decisions.

- GSCE's 5 and above
**Experience**:

- Systems knowledge - Excel and Word
