**Location: Midway, Bradford (hybrid working), Working hours between 08:00 - 18:00 hrs**

**Purpose of the role**

We are looking for an experienced **Resource Planner **to join our Planning and Forecasting team within the Customer Management Centre (CMC). You will ensure that all areas of our CMC have accurate and articulate forecasting, using data analysis and management information to assign the correct resource profile to meet business key performance indicators. You will balance resource/staffing availability and use in depth knowledge of the business to prioritise resource and jeopardy-manage to avoid customer and business failure pro-actively.

**What will you be doing in the role?**

As our **Resource Planner**, you will set up and maintain key areas of our Customer Management Centre within planning tools and reports for over 200 employees. Having a key understanding of the end-to-end planning tools to build resource foundations, providing resilience for our Customer Management Centre resource profile is essential. You will also:

- Work closely with wider functions of the Customer Management Centre to align resource, skills, and balance risk, understanding prioritisation based on business and customer impact
- Manage any variance to plan, highlighting key risks and discussing areas which may have a detrimental impact, ensuring timely communication to key stakeholders
- Develop close working relationships and understand key functions within CMC business areas to enable accuracy when forecasting by having in depth knowledge and understanding
- Be competent in reporting data as an output of the Resource Planning Team, maintaining reports as required
- Look for opportunities to improve and adapt processes in line with our business vision and purpose, whilst understanding business need
- Understand the CMC Business Plan and any manpower requirements
- Act as the first port of call for highlighting the need for upskill where there is a risk
- Maintain good working relationships with key stakeholders across the business
- Work closely with the Real Time Management team, communicating effectively to support the overall purpose of the team
- Be aware that financial management and commercial awareness form the foundation of business decisions
- Have a basic understanding of wider Performance and Planning area roles, with the ability to provide basic cover, namely with the queue team to form part of the BCP.

**Knowledge and Skills Required**

**Essential**:
Our **Resource Planner** will have previous experience of working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to adapt to high demand and work effectively under pressure. You will also:

- Have good working knowledge and hands-on experience of smart planning tools such as Workforce Management and aspect products e.g. Avaya/CMS
- Have experience of supporting and embedding change, able to influence and drive the right culture and behaviours
- Keen eye for data. Being able to analyse data accurately and produce relevant outputs to maximise resource performance
- Develop and maintain effective internal and external relationships with key stakeholders, with the ability to communicate at all levels across the business
- Be competent in chairing meetings, suitable for Planning and Forecasting
- Be skilled in the use of MS office products, with appropriate experience of Excel
- Demonstrate key organisational skills, with the ability to plan and manage your own workload effectively, recommending solutions and highlighting risks.

**Desirable**:

- Experience of delivering against challenging business targets
- Previous experience in a commercially orientated and / or regulated environment
- Able to demonstrate financial awareness when making day to day business decisions
- Previous experience of forecasting workloads within a Resource Planning environment.

If successful for the role, you will be required to undergo pre-employment checks that will include a Basic Disclosure Check, carried out through a Third Party Company, prior to commencing employment.
