**Stamford College** is seeking a dedicated and innovative **Lecturer **to join our supportive team. In this rewarding role, you will play a pivotal role in helping students who are struggling to engage in education, guiding them towards success and a smooth transition into mainstream education.

**Job Purpose**:

- Provide high-quality, individualized teaching and learning to a small group of students who require additional support.
- Collaborate with the wider team to manage the referral process and develop tailored study programs that accelerate student progress into mainstream education.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**:

- **Engaging Learners**:

- Work closely with curriculum teams to identify and support students who need additional support.
- Build strong relationships with students and create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Develop and deliver engaging and effective lessons for small groups and individual students on bespoke programs.
- **Supporting Progress**:

- Complete regular assessments and set SMART targets aligned with quality teaching and learning practices.
- Provide constructive feedback to help students achieve their full potential.
- Work collaboratively with faculty and support staff to implement adjustments and strategies that facilitate student success in the mainstream curriculum.
- Signpost students to appropriate internal and external support services.

- Work towards targets to reduce student withdrawal and ensure high retention rates.
- Monitor student progress and celebrate achievements.
- **Safeguarding and Wellbeing**:

- Work collaboratively with the College Wellbeing and Safeguarding Team.
- Identify and refer any safeguarding concerns using the established referral systems.
- **Continuous Improvement**:

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of resources, legislation, and best practices in supporting student engagement.
- Actively participate in student recruitment activities such as Open Days and student inductions.
- Utilize technology and learning resources effectively to enhance learner experience and employability.

- An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
