**£25,000**

**Monday to Thursday 7.30am - 4pm**

**Friday 7.30am - 3pm**

The purpose of the role is to ensure effective supply of materials and consumables from suppliers to workshop.

To emphasise the experience required, systems are all low-volume, unique, designed to customer requirements rather than standard high-volume catalogue products.

In addition to these departmental responsibilities this job description is neither exhaustive nor exclusive and may be reviewed in the future depending upon operational requirements and staffing levels.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Identifying purchasing needs
- Researching, selecting, and purchasing quality products and materials
- Building relationships with suppliers and negotiating with them for the best price, quantities, and delivery timescales
- Processing requisitions and updating management on the status of the order
- Managing stock levels
- Arranging transport and tracking orders to ensure timely delivery.
- Analysing trends to make informed buying decisions.
- Coordinating with Operations, Projects, and Design teams
- Monitoring quality and escalating any discrepancies to suppliers and management

**Key Skills & Experience**
- Engineering background desirable
- Interpersonal skills, particularly in negotiating
- Ability to make decisions.
- Ability to cope with pressure and adapt to situations.
- Analytical skills
- Math skills
- IT skills (MS office package, ERP desirable)
- Able to work well in a team.
- Good organizational skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £24,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
