**The Opportunity**

Ideally you will have a strong understanding of the retail market already and be looking to take your career to the next level. You will be tenacious, self-motivated and confident with building relationships up to an executive level. Commercial awareness of the implications of market challenges and impact to the retailers is key. The Associate Consultant will have the opportunity to become an expert within our Consulting business and support the presales activities and customer engagements across the team.

We have recently marked 500 employees This role will be a pivotal part in the continued growth and success of PMC. You will be responsible for representing PMC with high levels of client credibility throughout the project life cycle.

**Key objectives**
- Follow up of actions agreed within internal and customer meetings
- Engagement planning including event organisation and management, scheduling and attending meetings.
- Helping to build and develop relationships across the PMC and customer teams.
- Supporting the PMC Business Development activity by spotting and sharing opportunities for future business with account sponsors.
- Internal Consulting comms and working with Marketing on the external messages for Consulting and key campaign
- Helping to develop the Consulting proposition.
- Re-use and design of materials for the practice.
- Working closely with the Sales and Account Management teams to provide Pre-Sales support

**About you**
- Knowledge of retail industry
- Degree educated or equivalent qualification or experience
- Critical thinking skills
- Ability to develop strong client relationships, taking ownership for client relationships at the appropriate level within the project
- Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to present and update on progress status
- Good facilitation and planning skills
