A leading global General Insurer requires an interim Group Head of Risk and Compliance Director whilst awaiting the new permanent incumbent. It is envisaged that the contract will last between 3 to 6 months looking after various specialist insurance channelscombined with sizeable assets under management. Reporting directly to the Chairman and the COO, your role will be to ensure, from a regulatory perspective, the company maintains its excellent reputation.

A naturally compliant culture is already ingrained within the business and this high profile and senior position will be pivotal to ensuring that the business remains suitably aware and equipped for future regulatory changes. This will be a varied role providingregulatory assurance, further developing and maintaining the group’s Risk Management Framework, providing assistance and support to all levels from the Board down, but also guiding the business from a compliance perspective; ensuring the compliance frameworkremains both robust and commercial; maintaining dialogue with the FCA and other regulatory bodies; ensuring the business is aware and prepared for risk and regulatory change whilst demonstrating a positive and 'can do’ attitude to take on a variety of tasksto meet the business needs.

In order to succeed you will need to have held a lead Compliance or Risk Management role within an FCA regulated General Insurance business, with London Market exposure; and demonstrate excellent communication and influencing skills.
