**Job Title**: ESOL Tutor

**Location**: Derbyshire (Centre based)

**Salary**: £26,000 - £28,000 + Benefits

**Type**: Full Time, Contract (4-5 months)

**Duties**:

- Delivering Entry L2 and L3 ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) and Functional Skills English Level 1 training to learners within a classroom environment.
- You will carry out initial assessments, prepare schemes of work / session plans, deliver learning and ensure learners are supported towards achievement of regulated and non regulated training and qualifications.
- Identify learner’s strengths and weakness’ through initial assessment and support them accordingly.
- Set and review targets.
- Provide progress feedback to learners and provide support to ensure they meet their set goal / target.
- Ensure each learner’s progression is recorded efficiently.

**Essential Criteria**:

- Hold either a Level 3 Teaching Qualification such as PTLLS, or a recognised Assessor award (D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA)
- Experience of delivering ESOL / Functional Skills to groups of learners
- Must be flexible with travel.
