At **Eni**, we are looking for an **Operations Superintendent - Douglas** within **Eni UK** in **Douglas Platform**, Isle of Man, UK**. **You will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of safe and efficient production and maintenance operations, cost control and team leadership in accordance with the Company plans, management systems and all applicable.

**As a member of** **the **Field and Offshore** **department at Eni UK **you will be responsible for**:

- Working in direct support of OIM.
- Front line leadership of Douglas & satellites production delivery and optimisation.
- Working in support of the maintenance planning & preparation and is responsible for safe execution of these activities offshore.
- Identifying and developing action plans to continually improve offshore process performance with respect to HSE, production, cost, and reliability.
- Ensuring Platform is maintained in accordance Performance Standards and Maintenance schedules.
- Ensuring a safe system of work by compliance to Company procedures, work permits and risk assessments.
- Responsible for the planning and offshore approval of planned loss activities and initiate investigation of production outage or loss.
- Leading and managing all Production activities to meet the set business targets through effective leadership of the Production Supervisors and their teams.
- Leading and Manage Maintenance Departments and provide effective leadership to the Maintenance Supervisors and their teams.
- Working and supporting the LBA Decommissioning and CCS projects.
- Managing effective communication with all direct and indirect reports and ensure adequate handovers between all team members.
- Analysing key data to optimise Operational efficiency.
- Analysing key maintenance metric in support of priority Safety Critical Maintenance execution, deferral management and reduction in asset overall maintenance backlog hours
- Minimising Down time events and support root cause analyses to eradicate repeat failures and equipment single point of failure.
- Maintaining Company reputation relating to all production operations offshore.
- Ensuring full compliance with Eni MSGs, policies and practices, and applicable legislation and regulations.
- Supporting initiatives to promote visible and pro-active management commitment and employee involvement in HSE activities.
- Supporting resolution of Critical Equipment Failures in a timely manner.
- Ensuring all work and contractors comply with Eni MSGs, processes and procedures.
- Identifying and rectifying process upsets that might encroach on safety/ environmental issues.
- Deputise in Emergency Command and Control in accordance with the Emergency Response Plans, or as directed by the Installation Manager.
- Enforce the Permit to Work system, timely authorisation of all permits and revalidation.
- Enforces and encourages use of START to improve safety culture and behaviours.
- Leading/attending Hazops/Hazids/WPRA/Toolbox talks as required.
- Managing platform emissions/waste according to Company policy and targets.
- Liaising with HSE Specialist/Adviser on key HSE issues as required.
- Monitor and analyse key trend data including chemical usage and liaise with onshore teams as required.
- Liaising with Decommissioning Manager supporting with plans and preparation for Decommissioning of the LBA facilities also key role with preparation for Carbon Capture and Storage projects.
- Ensuring maintenance teams’ priorities are clear, and that goals and deliverables are consistent with leadership and direction provided.
- Coordinating of key engineering support through Maintenance Supervisors for critical contracts on Turbines and Compression systems
- Key focal point for offshore co-ordination of Conwy activities in liaison with Conwy Offshore Representative
- Liaising with sites on communications, scheduling, planning and training.

**This is the opportunity for you if you have these skills and requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering preferred with accreditation by professional body.
- Significant oil and gas industry experience in process facility production operations
- Leadership and management experience in an offshore production facility
- Certified (OPITO) in Management of Major Emergencies
- Knowledgeable in relevant Regulatory requirements and Legislation (e.g. DCR, PUWER, HSW, RIDDOR, PFEER)
- Certified to work offshore (BOSIET, OGUK Medical)
- Even time rotational position as required by Company, predominantly offshore.
- May need to work onshore as part of the rotation and/or for specific projects as required by Company.
