**JOB OVERVIEW**

A rare opportunity has arisen to work within the support team as a school counsellor.

The school Counsellor role provides a confidential counselling service to support students in need. It is a pro-active role which will involve offering therapeutic work for students who are referred and liaising with parents, staff and outside agencies to ensure the welfare of students. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and enthusiastic person to play a vital role in a dedicated team of staff.

**Contract**: 15 - 19 hours per week. Term Time Only

**Start date**:Asap
