Reporting to the Head of FP&A, you will be supporting the day-to-day running of the FP&A department. A wonderful opportunity for a highly numerate and analytical individual with the right aptitudes and motivation.

The role would suit an aspiring analyst who is keen to begin or develop their career in the Financial Planning and Analysis world.

The main purpose of the role:

- To reconcile Day Ends of the various segments of the company model.
- To issue Operational and MI to all stakeholders in the company.
- To support the company with analytics to grow the business.
- To ensure consistent, precise, and timely accounting procedures are adhered to for the group.
- To develop and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

Key accountabilities
- Daily reconciliation of sales for all segments of the business.
- Liaising with internal employees and customers to deal with queries on the reconciliations.
- Weekly completion of the Profest (Profit Estimate) and associated Operational reports.
- Completion of other reporting to agreed timescales.
- Support the FP&A Team and company to
- Create the budgets/reforecasts and load into Sage.
- ROI (Return on Investment) analysis for new projects.
- Acquisition - viabilities and business plans.
- Integration of various projects.
- Liaising with internal stakeholders to identify any new areas of reporting and creation of those reports.
- Assist with yearend audit and the preparation of the company’s statutory account.
- Any other ad hoc work.

Skills & experience
- Initiative and a can-do attitude are essential.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience of working to tight reporting deadlines.
- Experience of Sage.
- Experience of Microsoft Office - especially Excel to a moderate level.
