We are seeking to appoint a highly organised Administrator (Clinical Research) to join a team providing support for the portfolio of projects within the International Severe Acute Respiratory and emerging Infection Consortium (ISARIC). You will be located at the Pandemic Sciences Institute, at the Nuffield Department of Medicine.

The role of the Administrator (Clinical Research) sits within the research team and will support ISARIC studies whilst providing cover for other studies being conducted by the wider research team under the supervision of the Clinical Trials Manager. You will provide a comprehensive and efficient administration and research support service for multiple research projects in the field of emerging infectious diseases, and assisting in research activities with a level of knowledge, skill and expertise which may include participation in preparation of research documents, completing supporting paperwork. This role involves carrying out day-to-day administrative coordination of project(s) with minimum supervision, reporting problems immediately, and providing updates to the Trial Manager.

It is essential that you are educated to A-Level standard and have strong administrative experience including organising meetings and/or multiple appointment scheduling, is essential. As the role involves use of electronic data capture software, familiarity with handling databases and spreadsheets is essential. You will be self-motivated and friendly and have a responsible and flexible approach to your workload. You will be able to maintain clear and accurate records and be effective in meeting priorities and deadlines.

This position is offered full time on a fixed term contract until 31 January 2024 and is funded by the Wellcome.
