**Salary**: £31,339 - £35,892 + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

We have a great opportunity for Quoters to join our Team

Our SSEN Distribution Commercial and Connections teams are the first point of contact for customers wanting a new electricity connection. They also assist with changes to existing connections, equipment installation or relocation.

Whether a customer is building a single home, housing area, industrial site, power plant or independent network, we're here to help.

In this role, you'll regularly interact with customers. You'll give both formal and budget quotes for single and multiple domestic and commercial supplies.

**Roles & responsibilities will include, but are not limited to**:

- Your role will involve making engineering decisions on how best to provide the customer what they want, creating precise drawings of proposed work, calculating costs accurately and providing quotes to customers.
- You'll aim to achieve goals set for our teams, covering aspects like regulatory standards and customer expectations about safety, quality, service and timescales.

Your projects will be varied, and could involve single domestic connections, multiple domestic connections and commercial connections. All these will give you great exposure to our business and industry.

**What do I need?**

To be successful in this role we would love for you to have:

- Experience as a Quoter, Technical experience and/or experience in Customer Service
- Comfortable working with numbers, with a high degree of accuracy and be confident in producing high quality work to deadlines.
- A good understanding of electricity distribution and Power Systems networks would be beneficial.
- Excellent customer service skills and a passion for delivering the highest levels of customer service.
- You'll be good with computers including Microsoft services. Being quick at learning new systems is a plus. Knowing PROMIS and EO Web can be beneficial. However, the right person will receive training.
