**About the role**:
You will be responsible for ensuring our practices have the tools and resources they need to build their local brand and reputation while aligning with IVC Evidensia’s core principles.

You will maintain a ‘helicopter view’ of our first opinion practices, gaining a deep understanding of what the practice needs to deliver an outstanding client experience, driving both client numbers and customer lifetime value at a regional, area and local level.

You will have a strategic mindset and a problem-solving approach. You will hold the ability to listen to feedback from internal customers and pick out core themes to prioritise and have the greatest impact.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Working closely with Marketing Lead (Clinics) for other regions and the Marketing Director
- Support practices and operations teams to self-help as much as possible by providing well communicated
- Guidance and templates to execute marketing initiatives which build local reputation with the end goal of driving client footfall and delivering on customer lifetime value.
- Work towards centralising activity and developing policies and procedures to maintain a minimum standard within all IVC Evidensia UK and Irish practices
- Drive up compliance and adherence to minimum standards in practice
- Liaise closely with Deputy Director to understand how national initiatives dovetail with local approaches and work together to paint a clear picture of priorities and actions at practice level
- Work with Marketing Managers (Clinics) to execute improvements and define success metrics, monitoring progress and removing or flagging roadblocks as they occur, adhering to a ‘test-and-learn’ approach.
- Lead on best practice in client communications, including service messages required by law and promotion opportunities
- Support Marketing Managers (Clinics) in developing effective workshops to help practices establish an enduring brand essence to build local reputation.
- Manage workload and approaches of Marketing Executives and Marketing Administrators to support practices with local details such as Google My Business pages, Google reviews, and social posts. Ensure quality and fit-for-purpose content is delivered.

**What are we looking for**
- Strong relationship builder with an ability to network and influence at all levels, building high levels of trust
- Experience and understanding of building strong brands
- Experience of local/small business marketing approaches
- A good understanding of digital marketing strategies and tactics
- A clear and concise communicator with experience of landing messages in large and complex organisations
- An ability to put themselves in the client’s shoes and challenge the status quo with them in mind
- A problem-solving attitude with the ability to change direction as business needs adjust while maintaining a commitment to broader strategic objectives
- A keen eye for detail and expectations of high standards
- Confident to speak up with ideas and alternative approaches, takes a healthy approach to conflict
- An ability to rise above the detail and demonstrate the tenacity to fix root causes of issues, taking accountability for problem-solving
- Line Management experience is preferred
- Experience working across a portfolio of brands is a distinct advantage
- Experience of veterinary profession or pet-related industries desirable but not essential
