Pre-school Leader

**Qualifications and experience**
- Minimum level 3 qualified
- Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience working in an early years setting
- Minimum 1 years experience of management within an early years setting (preferred)

Further training will be provided where necessary

**Salary**

Dependent on experience

**Working hours**

30 hours per week, potentially negotiable to 37.5. Term time only, with some additional duties (e.g. training and meetings) outside of these hours.

**Job description**

Portreath Pre-school is a thriving, committee-run village Pre-school graded as Outstanding by Ofsted. We provide care and education for children aged 2 - 4 years. Portreath Pre-school is a registered Charity and is run by an elected community and parent Committee.

We are looking for a passionate, experienced manager who has a real desire to pursue a career in Early Years and will drive our Pre-school to continue to excel in providing outstanding care for our children. We are looking for someone with previous experience in early years and leadership who loves working with children and enjoys a challenge; who will support our small team of staff and ensure all legal and statutory requirements are fulfilled.
