Transport Planner

**Transport Planner - Job Vacancy**

**Boston Depot. Monday - Friday, 6am-4pm (plus on call and weekend rota)**

A new vacancy has arisen for a Transport Planner at the Boston Depot.

Reporting to the Depot & Operations Manager, your mission is to effectively ensure the smooth running of the day-to-day planning of vehicles.

**Key aspects of the role include**:

- You will assist in daily planning for multiple customers
- Day to day management of vehicle workload
- Organise outbound / return loads
- Ensure drivers comply with driving hours
- Customer liaison
- Accountability for daily / weekly vehicle revenues

- Able to work on own initiative
- Job requires out of hours calls
- Able to act calmly when under pressure
- Geographic knowledge
