A new start in your own team, your way of working and full autonomy over your own work and projects. Like the sound of this?
Opportunities like this only used to come about when someone else left the business, but not anymore. As a result of a recent takeover, growth and a new team being created, one of those positions has your name on it.
There will be you, as the PM, heading up a team of 4-5 other Engineers doing what you do best, which is of course taking projects from initial enquiry through to final delivery.
If you are as comfortable speaking to people on the shop floor as you are to senior managers, directors and company owners (and everyone in between for that matter), then you'll fit right in.
You won't need to worry about senior managers and directors looking over your shoulder and breathing down your neck all day. As long as you can show you've got the know-how and drive to manage the work effectively, then you'll be left alone and let to geton with what you and your team do best.
And if you think this is a 9-5 office job, you couldn't be further from the truth. Yes, there will be odd day or 2 in the office each week, but hybrid working is offered, and actively encouraged (who doesn't like working from the sofa from time to time),and you'll be given a full IT set up for home and a company phone to make sure you're not out of the loop with everyone else.
Of course you'll need to come from an Engineering / Manufacturing background (this is what we do after all), so naturally a good understanding of Electronics or Manufacturing is what we'd expect to see
