**Job Description**:
Reporting to the Head of Cycling Development, as the Technical Support Trainer, your primary responsibility is to provide support to the retail team, enabling them to deliver exceptional service to our customers. This includes ensuring that all colleagues adhere to health and safety guidelines and that bikes are built and repaired correctly to minimize any issues, losses, or damage. You will be aware of key products in the cycling market and take an active interest in current cycling trends.

Alongside training you will play an active role supporting our Area Management team with recruitment, succession planning and resource planning, ensuring our workshops are always open and our shop floors are filled with the right bikes. You will achieve this by having a strong mechanical awareness and providing inspirational leadership to ensure our workshops are a profitable sector.

You will be an advocate for cycling within the business, connecting with other central teams to ensure innovation and partnerships across the group. In this role, your expertise and guidance will contribute to the overall success of the retail team in providing exceptional service and ensuring technical excellence throughout the organization.

**Qualifications**:

- At least 2 years of experience within a busy workshop environment
- Cytec Level 2 or equivalent industry qualifications
- Comfortable delivering training sessions to large and small groups
- Ability to adapt your teaching style to meet the needs of the learner
- Strong understanding of retail processes and store management tasks
- Good level of written and spoken English and proficient with PowerPoint, Excel and Word
- Willingness to travel to cover assessments
- Ability to work in both a classroom environment, retail store and retail workshop
