We are looking for a head cook to join our team at our pub to lead our kitchen in creating and cooking exemplary meals, whilst ensuring a clean and safe environment. Working various shifts to cover breakfast, lunch and dinner service across 7 days per week, the successful applicant will have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment without compromising food quality and maintaining high kitchen standards. There is also the possibility of working towards management of the full pub.

Key responsibilities include;
- Taking ownership for the creation and delivery of the menu
- Upholding the highest quality, whilst ensuring food is served in a timely manner
- Managing meal portion sizes and ensuring mínimal wastage
- Ordering food for the kitchen in line with set budgets
- Ensuring a clean and safe kitchen environment
- Assisting with front of house responsibilities during quiet kitchen periods

The successful applicant will have a passion for food and demonstrable experience of creating and delivering high quality meals. You will ideally have experience of working as a chef/cook in a pub environment and will hold relevant qualifications, however all levels of experience will be considered and training will be provided.

**Salary**: £13.00 per hour
