**Full Job Description**

We're currently recruiting a dedicated Catering storeman to help ensure the smooth running of the operations at Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability, on a full time basis, contracted to 37.5 hours per week.

**Location**: Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability, SW15 3SW

**Rate of pay**: £11.07 per hour

**Working pattern**: 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday

**Key responsibilities**
- To complete duties in the kitchen and service areas as directed that are necessary to ensure an efficient, hygienic service is provided.
- To transport all food items, cleaning materials and laundry from the delivery area to kitchen storerooms, kitchen preparation areas and delivery of weekly ward catering supplies to all 12 wards as required.
- Responsible for the control, issue and receipt of all food deliveries.
- Check invoices and delivery notes and report any anomalies to your line manager
- Supervise the receipt, correct storage, and quality of food supply and report any concerns or observations to your line manager
- Unloading deliveries, and rotating the stock
- Loading cages and pushing wheeled trolleys and cages to allocate the stock to various storerooms
- Monitor all stocktaking procedures ensuring mínimal risk of waste by complying with the company Profit Protection guidelines
- Responsible for the cleaning of delivery areas, storerooms, walk in fridges etc.
- To operate all heavy equipment according to manufacturers instructions.
- Responsible for the correct disposal and any recycling of all rubbish
